About Us
We are a group of Amateur Radio operators, generally from the Yavapai County area in Arizona, who share common interests, goals, and aspirations.
Our monthly meetings are held at the Cottonwood Public Safety
Building (unless otherwise noted) the third Wednesday of the month, with driving directions located here. October and May meetings are held on the Prescott side
of the hill (unless otherwise noted). Check here for current meeting place and time. Join us at our Christmas party in December.
There are monthly breakfast get-togethers in Cottonwood, Chino Valley and Prescott Valley.
There are currently weekly lunch get-togethers in the Prescott area. Specific information is available by listnening to the Knobby Knee Knet - Meets daily, 365 days a year, at 7:00 AM local time . The club owns and operates a 2-meter FM repeater, W7EI/R, which is located on Mingus Mountain,
and operates on 147.220 MHz output with input on 147.820 MHz input, and requires 162.2 Hz pl tone. The repeater is open for use by
any licensed Amateur Radio Operator.
There is one regularly scheduled net that occur on the repeater.
